Farmers plant my seeds, and within just four to six months, I sprout tall and strong, basking under the sun and gently swaying in the wind. Remarkably, I thrive with minimal water, barely any pesticides, and enhance the soil as I grow, giving back nutrients and keeping ecosystems healthy.

When I mature, farmers carefully harvest me by hand, ensuring that the fibers remain intact and strong. They then soak me gently in natural water bodies, a process called retting, helping to separate my sturdy fibers from the woody stalks. After being dried naturally under the sun, skilled artisans comb and spin me into the golden threads you adore.
